Incident reporting
A structured form captures the date, time, location, category, goods, estimated loss and police details, and gives every report a unique reference.
Evidence organisation
Attach photos, PDFs and short videos. Files are stored privately and are only accessible to your business and authorised Helpa staff.
Controlled local alerts
Helpa administrators review and approve every alert before it is shared. Alerts describe patterns and approximate areas and never publish identities, CCTV images or unverified allegations.
Case eligibility assessment
Submitted incidents are reviewed to decide whether they may be suitable for civil recovery. We may ask you for more information.
Civil recovery support
On eligible cases Helpa reimburses your loss, then chases the shoplifter through our structured civil recovery process. Civil recovery is separate from any criminal process.
